Funeral Coordination
Description: A part of bereavement ministry designed to offer help and comfort to family members, loved ones and friends of deceased.
Scheduling: Contact parish office to schedule and coordinate the funeral
Ministry: The individual working in this ministry must be a person of patience, eager to help relieve grief and suffering of others with empathy.
Time Commitment: Extremely flexible as will be called to assist when parish is notified
Helpful Attributes: A comforting and caring soul
Activities: Meeting with families, coordinate funeral with family, parish office, sacristans, music ministry and altar servers and lecturers. Providing family with education of procedure.
